Internship
At Elite Fitness Training, we have interns working and receiving college credit. This is a non-paid internship. There are 2 areas we have interns help:
- Administration – These interns work in the office to help manage the marketing, planning, staffing, financial side of the company.
- Training – These interns work on the field. They help our Elite Trainers train athletes in certain areas of the company.
Strength and Speed (S & S) Trainer
At Elite Fitness Training, our Strength and Speed (S & S) Trainers are responsible for educating and developing these qualities in athletes of all sports. This position will work with the Director of Elite Fitness Training to ensure the success of the program. Minimum requirements for this position include being a high school athlete. Candidates that have played collegiately and/or have a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science will be preferred. Strong consideration will also be given to candidates who are Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists. Candidates should be able to work well with athletes of all ages.
Soccer Trainer
Juniors/Camp Trainer
At Elite Fitness Training, our Juniors Trainers are responsible for being outgoing individuals who are able to interact with young children and introduce new soccer skills to kids from ages to 2 to 7. The Juniors Program is broken up into 3 diverse sections; Little Juniors (ages 2 to 3 with parent), Juniors (ages 4 to 5), and Big Juniors (ages 6 to 7). The 45-60 minutes long sessions help young children get acclimated to group environments, while getting lots of touches on the ball. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with playing experience and/or experience working with young children.
Club Trainer
At Elite Fitness Training, our Club Trainers are responsible for running a one hour long training session. The Trainers are primarily kept with the same team throughout an 8-10 week period, so they are able to establish a relationship with their team, as well as progress through a season. Elite FT does club training for a diverse group of ages (U8-U18 Boys and Girls). Minimum requirements for this position include high school or club playing experience. Strong consideration will be given to candidates who have played collegiately and also those with U.S. Soccer Coaching Licenses.
Goalkeeper Trainer
At Elite Fitness Training, our Goalkeeper Trainers are responsible for running training sessions and/or camps. The goalkeepers that our Trainers work with are members of the teams that our Club Trainers work with. Candidates should be able to teach basic skills such as: footwork, positioning, catching, diving, and distributing. Minimum requirement for this position includes high school or club playing experience. Strong consideration will also be given to candidates who have played collegiately and have had experience working with kids.
